So Last Century is at Dulwich Picture Gallery this June with a big Summer Vintage Market!
On Sunday 7th June the Gallery plays host to a curated collection of amazing vintage traders filling the landscaped gardens, the Cloisters, Linbury Room and Art Studio. Expect to find mid-century homeware, decorative objets, ceramics and glass, lighting, furniture, 1950s and 60s original art, prints, posters, maps and charts, French antiques, summer fashion. jewellery and lots more. There’ll also be flowers and plants by florist, Yolly, too.
Lunch is sorted, with mouth-watering crêpes and galettes by Sarrasin and delicious bao buns, noodles and rice bowls by YouBao. Enjoy a cold draught beer or glass of wine from CAMRA award-winning New Cross pub The Shirker’s Rest who will have a stall in the gardens. The excellent Flotsam & Jetsam cafe and Canteen will be both be open too, serving food and drinks.
Listen to the brilliant Alvar Treefrogs performing New Orleans jazz out on the lawns. If you haven’t heard them before, you’re in for a treat!
