We’re back in Beckenham for a second time in May with another Vintage Market at the Mansion on the Spring Bank Holiday Monday, and it’s set to be a hot one!

50 more amazing traders from the local area, the south-east and further afield will be here with thousands of wonderful things to lay your hands on.

Inside and around the Mansion there’ll be plenty of mid 20th century furniture, lighting, homeware and ceramics, original posters, prints, books, records, antique maps and charts, French antiques, gardenalia, summer fashion and lots more.

Most traders take card payments, and will deliver locally if you want to buy big stuff, like a sideboard!

There’ll be delicious street food outside, great coffee by Beats & Grind, and amazing brownies by Slate ‘n’ Crumb.

With gorgeous views out over the Park, the excellent Mansion Bar and Cafe will be serving cold draft beer, chilled wine and other drinks. Get into holiday mode with an iced spritz from their outdoor kiosk.

The Mansion’s Ice Cream Trike will be roaming around throughout the day - stop them and buy one!

Before you go, call in to KnowHowYou sewing school on the ground floor and find out about the various classes and courses they have to offer, and delve into Verso Vintage shop in the basement.

Relax on the grass behind the Mansion with a cold drink and enjoy the sounds of our resident Market band, The Alvar Treefrogs, who’ll be serving up big slices of summertime jazz all afternoon.

So, come along on the Spring Bank Holiday Monday, and find loads of unusual things to buy, explore the mansion and enjoy the beautiful park bursting into all its summer splendour while you’re there.

The day is going to be a scorcher, so bring plenty of water, suncream and don’t forget your hat!

We strongly recommend using public transport and/or walking, or cycling to the market if at all possible, as the car park is small and fills up quickly.

Beckenham Hill Station – 8mins walk
Beckenham Junction Station – 12mins
Ravensbourne Station – 15mins
New Beckenham Station – 19mins

By car:
The car park has limited spaces and is expensive. Paying to park is cashless, by the PayByPhone app only. Charges are complex and based on the emissions of your vehicle. If you still prefer to arrive by car we advise avoiding the busiest period (11am-2pm). Note that vehicle entry is only via the Beckenham Hill Road entrance (Sat Nav: BR3 1SY) opposite the Church of St Augustine. If your GPS takes you elsewhere, try SE6 3PU instead, or use ///follow.skinny.fade

We recommend using the cheaper St George’s Road car park, near to Beckenham Junction Station, just a 12 minute walk away. Alternatively, there’s some on-street parking close to the Downham entrance on Old Bromley Road (Sat Nav: BR1 4LE) and near to Ravensbourne Station, (Sat Nav: BR3 5HE). Please respect local residents and other road users, and park considerately. The Mansion is an enjoyable 15 minute stroll across the Park from both these entrances.
