We’re back in Beckenham for a second time in May with another Vintage Market at the Mansion on the Spring Bank Holiday Monday, towards the end of the month.
50 more amazing traders from the local area, the south-east and further afield will be here with thousands of wonderful things to lay your hands on.
Inside and around the Mansion there’ll be plenty of mid 20th century furniture, lighting, homeware and ceramics, original posters, prints, books, records, antique maps and charts, French brocante, gardenalia, vintage fashion and lots more.
Most traders take card payments, and will deliver locally if you want to buy big stuff, like a sideboard!
There’ll be delicious street food outside, great coffee by Beats & Grind, and amazing brownies by Slate ‘n’ Crumb.
With gorgeous views out over the Park, the excellent Mansion Bar and Cafe will be serving draft beer, hot drinks and snacks all day.
The Mansion’s resident artists will be flinging open their studio doors. Climb the spiral staircase up to the first floor to view and buy work by Sophia Lyons and others
Before you go, call in to the KnowHowYou sewing school on the ground floor and find out about the various classes and courses they have to offer, and delve into the Verso Vintage shop in the basement.
Our resident Market band, The Alvar Treefrogs, will be back with us, busking with New Orleans jazz on the grass at the back of the Mansion.
So, come along on the Spring Bank Holiday Monday, and find loads of unusual things to buy, explore the mansion and enjoy the beautiful park bursting into all its summer splendour while you’re there.
FREE ENTRY
Step-free entrance, and level access throughout the ground floor rooms. Dogs welcome indoors.

We strongly recommend using public transport and/or walking, or cycling to the market if at all possible, as the car park is expensive and fills up quickly.

The car park has 110 spaces. Paying to park is cashless and by the PayByPhone app only. Charges are complex and based on the emissions of your vehicle. If you still prefer to arrive by car we advise avoiding the busiest period (11am-2pm). Note that vehicle entry is only via the Beckenham Hill Road entrance (Sat Nav: BR3 1SY) opposite the Church of St Augustine. If your GPS takes you elsewhere, try SE6 3PU instead, or use ///follow.skinny.fade
We recommend using the cheaper St George’s Road car park, near to Beckenham Junction Station, just a 12 minute walk away. Alternatively, there’s some on-street parking close to the Downham entrance on Old Bromley Road (Sat Nav: BR1 4LE) and near to Ravensbourne Station, (Sat Nav: BR3 5HE). Please respect local residents and other road users, and park considerately. The Mansion is an enjoyable 15 minute stroll across the Park from both these entrances.
