So Last Century’s Vintage Market at the Mansion is back at Beckenham Place Park for one of the biggest and busiest events of the year!
With more than 50 hand-picked vintage traders from the south-east, and further afield, there’ll be thousands of amazing things to see and buy.
Outside and inside the Mansion you’ll find mid 20th century furniture, lighting, homeware and ceramics, original posters, prints, books, records, antique maps and charts, brocante, salvage, vintage designer fashion, accessories and lots more.
Most traders take card payments, and will deliver locally if you want to buy something big and heavy, like a dining table!
There’ll be delicious street food outside, plus excellent coffee by Big Bro Espresso and amazing brownies by Slate ‘n’ Crumb.
In addition, the recently refurbished Mansion Bar and Cafe will be serving craft ale amongst other drinks, and some great lunchtime food.
Some of the resident artists will have their studios open on the first floor. Climb the winding staircase to view and buy their work.
Call in and say hello to see our friends KnowHowYou sewing school on the Ground Floor of the Mansion and find out about the various classes and courses they have to offer, and Verso Vintage shop in the basement where you’ll find more stuff to buy!
It’s nearly ‘back-to-school’ time, so why not make the most of the late-summer Bank Holiday and spend the day at Beckenham Place Park where find loads of things to buy, enjoy great food, and immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings and while you’re there!

We strongly recommend using public transport and/or walking, or cycling, to the market if possible, as parking inside the Park is limited and expensive.

The car park has limited spaces. Paying to park is cashless and by the PayByPhone app only. Charges are complex and based on the emissions of your engine. If you still prefer to arrive by car we advise avoiding the busiest period (11am-2pm). Note that vehicle entry is only via the Beckenham Hill Road entrance ( Sat Nav: BR3 1SY) opposite the Church of St Augustine. If your GPS takes you elsewhere, try SE6 3PU instead, or use ///follow.skinny.fade
We recommend using the cheaper St George’s Road car park, near to Beckenham Junction Station, just a 12 minute walk away. There’s on-street parking close to the Downham entrance on Old Bromley Road (Sat Nav: BR1 4LE) and near to Ravensbourne Station, (Sat Nav: BR3 5HE). Please respect local residents and other road users, and park considerately. The Mansion is an enjoyable 15 minute stroll across the Park from both these entrances.
