So Last Century is back at the Mansion this Christmas with a festive, hand-picked, line-up of vintage traders in the Drawing Room, Dining Room and Atrium selling a wide selection of unique and unusual gift ideas for friends and relatives!
You can expect to find a range of mid-century decor, lighting and homeware, vintage Christmas decorations, antique and vintage maps and medical drawings, framed prints, French brocante, fashion and accessories for the party season, jewellery, handmade items and much more
There'll be delicious street food, a coffee van and a brownie stall outside and the Cafe and Terrace Bar will be serving mulled wine and hot cider!
We also hope to have live musicians playing from the Gallery, to add to the seasonal atmosphere.
As usual, some of the artists in residence at the Mansion will be holding open studios on the day, including Sophia Lyons. Pop up to the first floor to meet them and view their work, some of which is for sale. Catch wonderful views of the park from their windows while you're up there!
In their studio on the ground floor, Know How You sewing school will be running 3D Christmas Tree workshops on the day for children, teens and adults. Pre-book on their website.
Don’t forget to check out Cigarette Records in their shop, in the basement. Owain will help you find what you’re looking for amongst the thousands of records he has in stock, and may introduce you to something you’ve never heard before!
And finally, not to be missed, is the fascinating, run by The Friends of Beckenham Place Park. Crammed with artefacts, maps, and documents, you can find out about the rich history of the Park.

We strongly recommend using public transport and/or walking to the event if possible, as the single carriageway access road to the Mansion can get very congested, particularly around midday. If you do prefer to arrive by car, there is limited parking available at the Mansion, although we advise avoiding the busiest period. Note that vehicle entry is only via the Beckenham Hill Road entrance (Sat Nav: BR3 1SY).
Alternative parking is also available at the Downham entrance, on Old Bromley Road (Sat Nav: BR1 4LE), or on Crab Hill by Ravensbourne Station, (Sat Nav: BR3 5HE), from where the Mansion is an enjoyable 15 minute walk across the Park.
The nearest cashpoint is at Waitrose near Beckenham Junction Station, a 15 minute walk away, so make sure you bring plenty of cash (some of our traders take cards but not all do).
